Calantha is US EPA approved for the control of Colorado Potato Beetles in potato crops. Calantha represents the promise of foliar RNA: it is as effective as the leading chemicals on the market and brings farmers a needed tool for their resistance management programs.

At the same time, it respects the environment. It is very selective and does not impact beneficial species like ladybugs. It degrades quickly in soil and water and leaves no detectable residue on the crop.
